About Me

Hi, I’m Cheryl.

Blackweb-2I provide businesses and nonprofit organizations with integrated marketing and communication services that drive brand recognition, constituent engagement and revenue. My experience ranges from small nonprofits to global technology firms. I identify my “sweet spot” not by organizational size or location but by enthusiasm and will.

My communication philosophy emphasizes integration, consistency, engagement, planning (you should see my crazy color-coded calendars) and results. When a foundation is strong, I love to augment with powerful technologies such as marketing automation or web personalization.

In addition to my day job, I often speak at conferences. Past engagements include Convio Summit, the Nonprofit Technology Conference and Social Media for Nonprofits.

I am a dual-degree graduate of Boston University with a Bachelor of Science in Communication and Bachelor of Arts in American Studies. I’m also a proud TriDelta alumna, former board member for the Young Nonprofit Professionals Network of Austin and active volunteer with the Chaparral Women’s Club.

When I’m not geeking out to marketing and communication strategies and tactics, you’ll  find me eating Tex-Mex, practicing yoga or cheering on the Houston Texans.
